Mom- Mother's Day without you was so lonely and sad. God had it rain because he knew how sad we were not to be able to spend the day with you. I Love you so much, not a day goes by that I don't reach for the phone to call. Life is not the same without you. I Miss you so much my heart aches. Thank you foe being the GREATEST MOM a son could ever have!!!! If I could only reach out to hug you...... LOVE YOU SO MUCH.....

Mary Ellen will always be remembered as a kind, gentle and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family always came first and foremost. Her children are her greatest legacy. Deirdre, Frank, Steven and Kara would like to offer our sincere condolences to all the Costello family. Mary Ellen was a wonderful Mum and I have very fond memories of staying with your family all those years ago when I was so young. Your Mum and Dad took great care of me and I had no problem settling in for my weeks holiday. I have wonderful memories of going to see the Muppet Show and of course that famous pizza trip. She will be greatly missed by everyone,

Mary Ellen was such a gentle and kind soul -- a wonderful mother, loving wife and dear friend. She was loved by all who knew her and she touched so many with her warmth and grace.
