Michael A. Ross, age 54, of Kent, CT died Monday, April 25, 2016 in New Milford, CT. He was the husband of Irene (Moore) Ross.

He was born in Danbury, CT February 17, 1962 son of Raffaela “Ann” (Scalzo) Hourin of Brooksville, FL and the late Anthony Ross. He was a Carpenter most of his life. Michael loved to garden and was an avid Civil War and Revolutionary War buff. He also was very knowledgeable about native American Indians especially the local tribe in Kent.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his 3 sons: Dominick, Philip & John Ross all of Kent; daughter: Kayla Ross of Oxford, CT; sister: Maryann Gianfraneschi of Brookfield, CT: brothers: Philip Ross of Roxbury, Larry Holm of New Milford, CT: 2 granddaughters: Avarie and Harper Lee Holmes, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Colonial Funeral Home, 87 Park Lane Rd., New Milford, CT, Saturday May 14, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Internment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Danbury is private at a later date.
