Jay Tracey Worden IV, age 69 of Bridgewater, CT, died Wednesday October 12, 2016 at New Milford Hospital.

Jay was born August 9, 1947 in Stamford, CT, a son of the late Jay Tracey and Helen (Davis) Worden III.

He was a 1965 graduate of New Milford High School and service in the United States Navy from July 1965 until July 1971. Jay was employed as an electrician at Kimberly/Clark Manufacturing in New Milford for 26 years before retiring in 2004. He was a life member of the VFW Post 1672 in New Milford and was an avid Yankees and Giants fan.

Jay is survived by two sons Matthew Worden of New Milford, CT and Jay Tracey Worden V of Winsted, CT; a daughter Julie McNally of New Milford, CT; a brother, Craig Worden, Wade, ME; a sister Kathy Sylvester, St. Albans, VT and six grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday October 15, 2016 in South Cemetery, Bridgewater, CT at 11:00 am.
