Barbara Ann Erhardt, a long-time resident of the Danbury area, passed away Thursday, November 09, 2017 at Regional Hospice.

Born in 1939, Barbara had a varied career, serving in the Women’s Army Corps and working as a telephone operator. She met Richard, her husband of 55 years, while serving as a dance instructor for Arthur Murray’s Dance Studio.

Barbara loved socializing, classic movies, and refused to let a visitor leave her home empty-handed.

She is survived by her devoted husband: Richard; daughters: Cindy Cassavechia, Kristen Lombardo & Nancy Godbout: sons: Greg, Ricky & Bobby, and dozens of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss her sense of humor and endless humming. She was pre-deceased by her son Timothy.

Calling hours will be held at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel on Sunday, November 12 from 5:00 to 8:00.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Danbury on Monday, November 13 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Wooster Cemetery, Danbury.
