William D. Tammero

William "Billy" Tammero, 70, of Bethel, CT, formerly of Brooklyn NY. passed away peacefully on Monday, June 8th, 2024.

Billy's infectious laughter, which could be heard from a mile away, was his trademark and reflected his love for life.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Catherine Tammero, his cherished sons, Eric and Andrew Tammero, his loving sister, Barbara McElwain, and his devoted brothers, Michael and Richard Tammero. Above all, Billy adored his grandchildren, Paisley, Oliver, Elodie, and Lucy. Whether enjoying a good horse race, lounging by the pool, or spending cozy evenings by the family room fire, Billy's greatest joy was always his family.

The family will receive friends at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, Monday evening, July 15, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Church, 26 Dodgingtown Rd., Bethel, CT, Tuesday July 16, 2024 at 10:00 AM.
