Stephen A. Hermes

Stephen A. Hermes, age 38, formerly of Bethel, CT died unexpectedly at Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, NY.

He was born May 4, 1984 in West Chester, PA, son of Richard D. and Joanne M. (Brunner) Hermes of Bethel, CT.

Steve was an Eagle Scout and worked as a Computer Aided Designer at the former Ruhle Industries in Valhalla, NY for many years. He was also a machinist and liked dealing with mechanical and electrical components. He loved camping and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister: Jacqueline Cruz and her husband Christopher: his nieces: Zoe & Olivia Cruz, as well as aunts and uncles.

Prayers will be offered at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, preceding the service from 10:00 to 11:00.

Family and friends will meet at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY, Thursday September 8, 2022 at 1:00 PM for committal services.
