Ruth A. (Prescott) Stolle

Ruth P. Stolle, daughter of Olga M. (Swenson) and William J. Prescott, died on June 1, 2024 at home in Bethel, Connecticut. She was 96 ½ years old.

Born in the Bronx, NY on November 10, 1927, she attended school in the Bronx until moving to Connecticut, where she graduated from Ridgefield High School in Ridgefield, Connecticut.

Her husband George W. Stolle predeceased her.

She is survived by sons: Carl W. Stolle of Willington, CT, Kurt W. Stolle of Bristol, TN; daughter: Lynn D’Ostilio of Brookfield, CT; two grandsons: Brian J. D’Ostilio and his wife Tia of Clarkesville, GA, Thomas G. D’Ostilio of Miami, FL and two great granddaughters: Ivy D’Ostilio and Ada D’Ostilio of Clarkesville, GA.

Ruth was formerly employed by the Ridgefield Savings Bank. She enjoyed bowling, dancing and attending Bethel Senior Center events.

There are no calling hours. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Bethel, CT at the convenience of the family. Pastor John Parille will preside at the graveside service.
