Patricia A. Stashenko

Patricia Ann Stashenko, age 72, of Bethel, Connecticut died peacefully in her home on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 after a long, valiant battle with illness.

Born in Queens, New York September, 19, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy Haffen and stepdaughter to the late Donald Haffen. She grew up and attended school in Norwalk, CT before moving to Bethel to raise her children. Patricia was a loving mother and a hard worker. She valued her family and friends above all. She enjoyed crafting, needlepoint, and loved keeping up with the latest technology. 

She is survived by her 2 sons: Michael Stashenko of Slingerlands, NY, Brian Stashenko and his wife Marisa of Bethel, CT; her brother Tom Johnson and his wife Lisa of Shelton, CT; her beloved grandsons Nolan and Andrew, and granddaughter Haven who fondly remembers doing her nails with Nana; her nieces Erin and Emily; her dearest friend Steve Kerekes, as well as many dear friends. In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her brother Joseph Young. 

The family will receive friends at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, CT, Thursday, July 13, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
