Michael T. McDermott, age 66 of Bethel, CT formerly of Danbury died unexpectedly on Monday, November 13, 2023 at his home.

He was born in Danbury, September 5, 1957 son of the late Dr. John and Elizabeth McDermott.

Michael is survived by his sons: John M. McDermott and his wife Stephanie of New Milford, CT, William M. McDermott and his wife Paige of Silver Springs, MD, Brian J. McDermott of Bethel, CT; brothers: John McDermott of New York City, Patrick McDermott and his wife Carol of West Hartford, CT; sisters: Catherine McDonald and her husband John of Bethel, Anne McDermott of New York City and 3 grandchildren: Ruari, Mary and Teddy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter Church, Danbury, Monday, November 20, 2023 at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury. There are no calling hours. Friends are asked to gather directly at church for the Mass.
