Mary Ann Broderick

Mary Ann Broderick, age 60 of Bethel, CT died unexpectedly at her home on Monday, August 22, 2022.

Mary Ann had a heart of gold and would do anything for her friends and family. She had a great sense of humor.   She loved gardening, taking care of her lawn, the occasional trip to the casinos (always winning something) with her friends, and her new fur baby, Spunky. She loved her friends, especially Patty Coelho and her family, her Bethel Emergency Services family, with whom she spent her entire working career, retiring after 38 years, and lifelong friend and second mother, Barbara Negri.  Mary Ann was always grateful for Frank Stein, (her 2nd “brother”) who would be there to help her with anything that needed fixing. 

Mary Ann was the youngest of four children born to Robert and Mary Hossan Broderick. 

Mary Ann is survived by her sister, Cathy Renzulli and her children, Lindsay Peterson(Denny Peterson),  Randi Emmans (John Suazo) and Corey Renzulli and her Great-niece and nephew, Mia and Kai Peterson, all of whom she loved dearly.  Mary is also survived by many cousins. 

Mary Ann was predeceased by her mother and best friend, Mary, father, Robert, Sr,, sister, Barbara, brother, Robert, Jr.  and brother-in-law, Kevin J. Renzulli.  

The family will receive friends at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
