Marion T. (Pape) Wells

Marion Theresa Wells, of Bethel, CT died peacefully on May 26, 2021 surrounded by her family. Marion was both a homemaker and clerk at Stop & Shop in Danbury for many years. She was a communicant at St Mary’s Church in Bethel and a resident of Maplewood at Newtown. 

She was the devoted mother to Dorothy Fleishman and her husband Michael of Boston, MA, Donald Wells and his wife Cheryl of Wolcott, CT and Sheila Stroh and her husband John of Bethel, CT. She leaves her beloved grandchildren Brendan Stroh and his wife Lyndsey of Hudson, NH, Patrick Stroh and his wife Caitlin of Trumbull, CT, Donald Wells and his wife Cassie of Plainville, CT, Shaun Wells and his wife Caitlin of Farmington, CT, Meagan Fleishman of New York City, Danielle Fleishman of Boston, MA and Caitlin Fleishman of Boston, MA.

Her recent joy extended to her great grandchildren Aislyn, Lochlan and Teagan, and Payton Stroh. She also leaves her beloved Pape family, Paul, Robin, Jamie, Jennifer, Christopher, Kathy, Stacey Pape (Marchu) and Michael Sweeton.  She is predeceased by her father and mother, William and Nellie and her brother William and sister Madeline and her husband Donald. 

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday June 5, 2021 at 10 AM at St Mary’s Church in Bethel, CT. Interment will follow at St Joseph’s Cemetery Middletown, NY.
