My husband's stepfather served on the US PARKER during WW-11.
My son is now on the Navy, first lieutenant, and will be deployed for the third time next year.
I'm sorry that it took so long to get this brave hero back home.
I'm sure it gives some closure to the remaining family

How sad that it took so long for his remains to be returned to his family and how sad his eldest living relative died not even 2 months ago before knowing his remains have been found. Thank you Joseph for your service and for your sacrifice.
