Glenn A. Richardson

Glenn Anderson Richardson, 71, of Bethel, CT went to his new heavenly home on January 12, 2021.  He was born March 22, 1949 in Oceanside, NY, son of the late George Anderson Richardson and Joan Lorraine Richardson, who he is now reunited with.  Glenn is survived by his sister, Lorraine Go, brother-in-law, George Go, and two nephews, Brian and Jason, all of CT.  He was a lifelong NY resident living in Rockville Centre and Westbury before moving to Bethel, CT in 2016. 

Glenn was an accomplished pianist who began accompanying singers at age twelve, but his passion was playing in rock bands over several decades, three of which were Rachel, Lunar Park, and The Corner Boys.  He studied piano for five years but also had a remarkable ability to play by ear which amazed all who heard him. 

Life became very challenging for Glenn the last six years of his life after suffering a stroke, but he is now at peace with His loving Father.  He was an all-around good guy who will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date at Walnut Hill Community Church.
