Elaine LeMoine Obituary

Elaine Anderson LeMoine, beloved wife of Mark LeMoine of Bethel, CT passed away on October 15, 2022, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Elaine made beloved and lifelong friends wherever she went, and she is remembered for her infectious smile and laugh.  She was always the last to leave the party and she will be forever missed. 

Elaine was pre-deceased by her father Captain Vincent “Skip” Anderson and her sister Kathleen Anderson both of Yonkers, NY and her best friend Deb Hargraves of Helena, MT. She is survived by: her mother Helen Scott Franco of Catskill, NY; her sister Jacqueline Ruppert of Peekskill, NY; her brother John Anderson of Catskill, NY; her niece Emily Ruppert of Brooklyn, NY; her nephews Andrew Ruppert of Peekskill, NY; and John Anderson Jr. of Yonkers, NY; her godchild Emma Persons of Helena, MT; and sisters-in-law: Suzanne LeMoine of Cheshire, CT; Patrice LeMoine and Tom Whitbread of Hamden, CT; and Michelle LeMoine and Mark Carlo of Colorado Springs, CO. Elaine wanted to remember: Michael and Maryanne Goldstein; Linda and Cary Gruber; Richard and Glenna Evans; Kevin and Rose Kelly; Maureen and Michael Collins; Claire Peterson; Lorraine and PJ O’Neill; and other friends too numerous to mention. She is also wanted to thank her new friends, the “Great Hill Drive Gang” with whom she bonded so quickly:  Lisa and Rick Gallachio; Jake and Bill Bottinger; Robin and Peter Russo; Leon and Marie Karvelis; and Dominique Reviere.

Elaine was the Laboratory Director for ELI in New Haven, CT before working at Perkin Elmer in Stratford, CT for 20 years as a Project Manager.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society for pancreatic cancer research.
