Dr. Thomas Gegeny Obituary
Thomas Paul Gegeny, PhD, age 81, of New Fairfield, CT, died Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of Alice Mary (Long) Gegeny.
He was born in New York, NY, on March 9, 1940, son of the late Joseph and Gizelle Gegeny.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his 4 children and 2 grandchildren: son Thomas and husband Daniel Lopes of Bridgeport CT; daughter Theresa, husband Michael Blasi, and grandson Michael of Hartsdale NY; son Mark, wife Marie (Gonzalez), and granddaughter Taylor of New Fairfield; and son Joseph of Ansonia CT.
A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Bethel, CT on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 12:30 PM.
The family will receive friends and visitors at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., in Bethel on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, prior to leaving for the cemetery.
