Dolores DiMarzio Obituary

Dolores (Cardillo) DiMarzio, age 93 of Bethel, died Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Danbury Hospital. She was the widow of Paul DiMarzio, Sr.

She was born in Manhattan, NY February 9, 1927, daughter of the late Archangel “Andrew” and Anna (O’Brien) Cardillo, and was a 1945 graduate of Aquinas High School in the Bronx. She worked at A&P Company in the Bronx and Read’s Department Store in Danbury.

Dolores is survived by her son Paul DiMarzio, Jr. and his wife Linda of Bethel; 3 granddaughters: Bethany Barrese, Amanda Resnik, and Christina DiMarzio; 3 great-grandchildren: Alexandra and Mathew Barrese, and Tyler Resnik; and a sister: Florence Regina of PA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Bethel. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bethel.
