William Joseph Von Helms

William J. Von Helms age 40 of New Fairfield, CT, passed away Saturday June 9, 2018 after a long battle with Leukemia. He was the husband of Ella Cristina (Mingolelli) Von Helms.

William was born August 31, 1977 in Goshen, NY, a son of Frederic and Julia (D'Aiello) Von Helms. He served for 4 years in the US Marine Corp.

Will was loved and a true inspiration to many he touched, including his family, friends, and anyone who knew him.  He was a devout Christian, a faithful member of New Life United Methodist Church, and had tremendous faith and unconditional love for God.  

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his daughter, Brenna Von Helms; his brother, Frederic Von Helms III and sister, Elizabeth Sibio.

Family will receive friends in the New Life United Methodist Church, New Fairfield, Ct on Wednesday from 10 am until 2 PM. The funeral service will begin at 2 PM. Burial will be in Mountian View Cemetery, New Fairfield.
