Welcome to the memorial page for

Robin Brundage, Sr.

November 12, 1952 ~ January 22, 2017 (age 64) 64 Years Old

Robin Brundage Sr., age 64, died suddenly at Danbury Hospital on January 22, 2017 of an aortic dissection.  He fought a hard, valiant fight to keep living the life he so enjoyed.

He was born on November 12, 1952 to Edwin and Dorothy (Broadbent) Brundage. He was a Master Electrician and owner of his own business for 37 years.

He leaves behind his wife of 38 years: Debbie (Fry) Brundage; his sons: Rob Jr. and his wife Lorraine, Scott R. Brundage and his wife Bonnie Durgin; the loves of his life, his grandsons: Luke and Trevor Brundage; his mother-in-law: Nina (Noreen) Fry; his brothers: Cameron and Malcolm Brundage; sister-in-law: Dodi Cralley and her husband Bruce.

He also leaves behind his dearest friends who are really our beloved adopted family; Linda and Fred Ray and Sadie and Richard Virtudes who have been there for us always. Special thanks to Mark Sterling and Jay Mortara who were so very helpful to Rob when he needed them most and whose friendship he cherished. Rob was predeceased by his mother and father, his father-in-law: George Fry Sr. and brother-in-law: George Fry Jr.

Robin enjoyed people and made friends very easily because of his gift of gab. He was proud to have grown up in Bethel and enjoyed life-long friends. They all had a nickname. He ate daily at the Sycamore and exer-socialized at the War Memorial most days. He would want me to thank all of his work friends and associates for all your support and loyalty through the years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gregory the Great Church, Danbury, Saturday morning at 10:00. Cremation will be at the convenience of the family.

The family will receive friends at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to West Redding Fire Department, 306 Umpawaug Road, Redding CT 06896 or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at www.stjude.org/Donate.
