Robert Keith Borger, age 77, a lifelong resident of Washington, CT died on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Village Crest Center for Health and Rehabilitation, New Milford, CT. He was the husband of Marian “Meg” (Gorham) Borger.

He was born in New Preston, CT, July 7, 1939, son of the late Arthur and Eunice (Wheeler) Borger. He served in the United States Air Force and worked at Northeast Utilities for 32 years before his retirement. He will be remembered for his smile and love of sports.

In addition to his wife Meg, he is survived by daughter: Pamela; brother: Norman; Grandsons: Austin & Chancellor and granddaughter: Cassidy. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son: Scott and brothers: Richard & Carl.

A memorial service will be held at the Washington Congregational Church, 6 Kirby Rd., Washington, CT Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM. There are no calling hours.
