Patricia H. (Hills) Shields

Patricia (Hills) Shields, age 67 of Gaylordsville, CT, died Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Danbury Hospital after a long battle with cancer. She was the wife of Peter J. Shields.

She was born in New York, April 27, 1951 daughter of Gordon E. Hills of New Milford, CT and the late Eleanor Ruth (Wells) Hills. She was a New Milford resident all of her life. Pat worked at Charter Communications in Newtown for over 20 years and then at Big Y Supermarket in New Milford for 14 years until retiring. She was a former member of the Gaylordsville United Methodist Church where she and her husband were married on September 14, 1996.

In addition to her husband of 22 years and her father, she is survived by her brother: Ronald Hills and his wife Maryanne of Goshen and her nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her best friend for over 40 years: Cathy Shimko of Gaylordsville.

The family will receive friends at the Colonial Funeral Home, New Milford, CT on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Cremation was at the direction of the family.
