Joseph Bergknoff, 94, of Hartsdale, NY and recently Bethel, CT, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2017 and was reunited into the loving arms of his beloved wife Doris and his adored son Harlan. A shining light in this world, Joe had a heart of gold and his example of strength, kindness, and love will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.

Born in New York City on August 4, 1922, Joe served during WWII in the US Army and ran a successful printing business for over 30 years. An artist at heart, Joe created a kinetic art technique admired by collectors across the country and his work was exhibited locally at the Greenburgh and Bethel, CT libraries and the White Plains hospital.

Joe is survived by his loving daughters, Sandra (Guy) Riina of Monterey, CA, Marci (Felix) Benitez of Bethel, CT, daughter-in-law Carole Davidson of Mpls, MN, and his 5 loving grandchildren Dawn, Steven, Harlyn Blair, Daniel, and Hayley, and 5 great-grandchildren.
