James A. Klausner age 78 of New Milford Passed away Wednesday April 26, 2017 at Village Crest in New Milford. He was the husband of Lillian (Konkowski) Klausner.

Mr. Klausner was born December 2, 1938 in Glens Falls, NY, a son of the late Herman Fredrick and Hilda (Bover) Klausner. He was a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. Mr. Klausner was employed by Duracell Inc. in Bethel for 15 years before retiring in 2000. He has been a resident of New Milford since 1985. Mr. Klausner enjoyed reading books about anything and traveling.

In addition to his wife of 53 years, Mr. Klausner is survived by two sons, Jeffrey S. Klausner and his wife Charmaine of Westbury, NY; Timothy Klausner of Doyle, TN; a daughter Lori Lintner and her husband Jason of Walpole, NH; a sister Betty Jones and her husband Donald of Gansevoort, NY; six grandchildren, Merisa, Samantha, Melissa, Zachary, Nichole and Kaylee; two great grandchildren, Cambria and Remy

The family will receive friends in the Colonial Funeral Home 87 Park  RD, New Milford, Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, with a service to begin at 2:00 PM.
