Gerhard Wolfl, age 74, of New Fairfield, CT died Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Regional Hospice Center, Danbury. He was the husband of Kathy Wolfl.

He was born in Gokovo, Yugoslavia, March 20, 1943, son of the late Anton and Theresia (Weigand) Wolfl. He came to the United States in 1955 living in New York and New Jersey before moving to New Fairfield in 2010. He had worked at Continental Group Industries and most recently was employed at the Bank of New York.

A loving husband, father and grandfather, in addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons: Chris Wolfl and his wife Beatrissa of New Milford, CT, James Wolfl and his wife Deanna of Pennsauken, NJ; daughter: Heather Till and her husband Charles of New Fairfield, CT and grandchildren: Nicholas, Connor, Abigail, Eva and Annabel.

The funeral will be held at the Hull Funeral Home, 60 Division St., Danbury, Sunday afternoon at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Mountainview Cemetery, New Fairfield, CT. The family will receive friends at the Hull Home, preceding the service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
