Frances Ann (Ippolito) Forrest

Frances A. Forrest, born Frances Ippolito passed away peacefully in her sleep, on Tuesday May 1, 2018, at the age of 86. She is the wife of Robert Forrest.

Frances was born in the Bronx to Anthony and Elizabeth Ippolito, where she lived prior to moving to Bethel in 1981. Frances was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She had a wonderful sense of humor. She was the matriarch of the family and fiercely loved her five grandchildren. One of her favorite hobbies was knitting afghans and blankets as gifts. 

Frances is survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert, two sons Robert Forrest and his wife Carolyn, Glenn Forrest and his wife Joanna, and her daughter Linda Barber. Frances is preceded in death by her son-in-law William, sister Margaret, and brother Fred.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Saint Mary Church, 26 Dodgingtown Road, Bethel, CT on Monday May 7, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Burial of ashes will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
