Eileen Curr, 90, of Danbury, CT passed away peacefully with her family on Friday, Jun 29, 2018. Born in Southampton, England, on July 29, 1927, she came to America as a WWII war bride and was adored by her husband, Andrew Curr, Jr. of Danbury, CT. She worked for 35 years at Stony Hill Inn, Bethel, CT. Eileen was an outstanding cook and baker, a skilled gardener, a proficient seamstress, and animal lover. Her talents, compassion, and kindness will be fondly remembered by many. Her holiday celebrations were famous among family and friends. She is survived by her 3 daughters: Valerie Palma and her husband Anthony of Morris, CT; Andrea Holmes and her husband Glenn of Hopewell Junction, NY; Lisa Holmes and her husband Greg of Morris, CT; as well as six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Saint Joseph’s Church in Danbury, CT on Tuesday, July 3rd at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Family will receive friends in the Hull Funeral Home, 60 Division St, Danbury, CT, 5-7pm, Monday July 2nd.
