Since I worked for her son Lee for over 23 years I got to really get to know Ma Bassett. She would go with Lee and I out to lunch many Wednesdays and Fridays since these were the days he worked in his office in Meriden. She was such a positive person and a joy to know.

My condolences to the family of Dorothy Bassett. I didn't know her well, but she was so sweet and such a wonderful lady. She adored her family. I wish I knew her service was today as I would have attended.
