Dear Virginia and Cundari Family,

So very sorry to hear of Charles' passing . We know the pain of losing a loved one. Losing a member of your immediate family is like losing a part of ourselves. Our memories and who we become have been deeply shaped by the loved one you now grieve. Remember that he helped you become who you are and revel in that thought. In that way, he will always remain. Your loving family should stay proud and close, celebrate his life and be glad that he is not suffering, and is home with the other members of your family, in heaven with our Lord. We stand on this shore and say good bye, they are on the other shore waving hello. We will all be together again one day. God Bless and Comfort you in this time of sorrow.

I met Charlie in 1992 when my wife and I moved to Bethel from NY I recievd a phone call from Charlie Asking me who I was he heard another Cundari moved into town how he knew I moved there I'll never know. I told him to come over because my dad was at my house he was eager to meet him also well that meeting lasted 3 hours lots of with lots of laughter and cigarettes smoked we determined we weren't related but it didn't matter the hardest part was determining how to pronounce Cundari the NY Cundari pronounced it kundairy while the Norwalk Cundari's pronounced it kundare lots of talk of the old country where grand parents came from and what year they came to America any way we had a nice little relationship for 5 years or so although we lossed touch when we moved out of Bethel a little piece of Charlie touched me he's defiantly in heaven with my dad who passed away in 2005 God bless you Charlie rest in piece. Your old friend Jim

My dear brother, Charlie, whom I shall always have a special place in my heart for. His remarkable talent in many things he enjoyed doing, such as sports, oil painting, reading and gardening. His love for his wife, Priscilla, his children and grandchildren, his parents and siblings, was genuine and devoted. Charlie was very intelligent. He sometimes amazed me at the things he remembered and appreciated in his younger years, and carried on in his adulthood. Toward the end of his life he suffered with walking and it was difficult for him, as he loved being active. I shall miss this remarkable man, my brother, but I know he is in a far better place, suffering no more and with Our Lord and His saints and angels, and his beloved daughter, Teresa Jean, his parents, his sisters and brothers. God bless you, Charlie and know you are loved and respected by many and you have left a permanent mark in my heart. Until we meet again, I love you, your sister, Virginia.
