Charles ‘Ricky’ Acocella, age 66 of Bethel, passed away at home, Thursday February 28, 2019 after a long battle with mental illness.
Ricky was born November 21, 1952 in Port Chester, NY a son of Rose Ann (Federici) Acocella of Southbury, CT and the late Charles Joseph Acocella. Ricky was an artist composing sketches daily. He enjoyed fishing, spending time at the lake and was an avid Yankee’s fan.
In addition to his mother, Ricky is survived by five brothers; Ron Acocella of Danbury, Joseph and his wife Maarit of Danbury, Ken Acocella and his wife Michelle of Southbury, Anthony Acocella and his wife Meghan of Fairfax, VA and Thomas Acocella and his wife Carol of Ridgefield, CT; two sisters: Lisa Trupp and her husband Chris of Southbury, Melissa Acocella of Port Chester, NY and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the convenience of the family.
