Bruce Edgar Tibbitts, devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother, Pop-Pop, and uncle sang his last song on November 8, 2018 after a short but hard fight with cancer.
Bruce was born in Bristol, CT to George and Esther (French) Tibbitts on May 2, 1951. Bruce lived for his wife, children, grandchildren, and friends. He has touched the masses through his music.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife Pam (Miller) Tibbitts, his sisters Nancy Romeo and Donna Edwards and their families, his children and their partners: Michelle (Tibbitts) and Joe Pires, Richard and Heather Tibbitts, Paul and Erin Tibbitts, and Sean Tibbitts and Daisy Hernandez, his grandchildren: Sierra, Olivia, Emma, Owen, Anthony, Joshua, and Leo, and his sisters-in-law: Nancy and Jane, and their families. He will be missed by many, and all will take comfort knowing he is watching over us.
Bruce earned his bachelor’s degree from Western Connecticut State University and had a long career in sales and marketing at Dresser Industries.
A lifelong musician and entertainer, Bruce always had a song and would provide a soundtrack to life no matter what the situation. Life was the song. Love was the music.
