Anna J. Koehler, age 94 of New Milford, CT died at her home, Thursday, December 21, 2017. She is the wife of the Late Harold Koehler.

Ann was born November 19, 1923, in Beacon, NY to the late Alexander and Mary (Burak) Dziminowicz. She moved to Danbury, CT with her family after graduating from high school in New York. After Ann married the love of her life , she and Harold moved to New Milford, CT, where she lived until her death, on her on terms. Ann worked for National Biscuit Co., in Beacon, NY and later at Barden Corporation in Danbury, CT as a quality control chemist. Once she retired, Ann enjoyed going to the Senior Center where she met some ladies who played cards and bingo, went out to dinner or breakfast after church. Knitting was her passion, every child born into the family received a hat and sweater she painstakingly made for each.

Ann is survived by two brothers: Alec Dziminowicz of Poughkeepsie, NY, John Dziminowicz of Fox Fire Village, NC and several nieces and nephews, great and great great. She is predeceased by four sisters, Mary Tomanio, Frances Adams, Nettie Beczek, Helen Tierney and a brother Joseph Dziminowicz.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in St Francis Xavier Church, New Milford, CT on Friday December 29, 2017 at 1:00 in the afternoon. The family will receive friends in the Colonial Funeral 87 PK.Ln. RD Friday morning from 11:30 am until 12:30 in the afternoon.
