Sara Higson Griffing, of New Milford, CT, widow of William Charles Griffing, died peacefully on Thursday

August 11th, after a brief illness.

Sally, as she liked to be called, would have been 93 on September 1st. She was predeceased by a son Ralph

(Randy) Griffing. She left a daughter Virginia Genest and a son Paul Griffing. Sally will be greatly missed by

 her 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.  She loved to play bingo with her friends at Glen Ayre

in New Milford.  As a member of the Danbury Yacht Club for many years she served as the president of the women’s group and enjoyed boating on Candlewood Lake. 

Burial will be Private. There are no calling hours.
