Roswell P. Bryant, Jr., age 86, of Danbury, CT died Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of Diane Best-Bryant.

Roswell, also known as “Peaches” was born in Norwalk, January 19, 1931, son of the late Roswell P. and Elsie (Scofield) Bryant and served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a former resident of New Milford where he owned a Dairy Farm for many years. He later owned and operated a Landscaping Business. He was an “Earthy” person who loved the outdoors and treated everybody fairly.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by numerous step-children, nieces and nephews, 1 brother and 2 sisters.

A graveside service with military honors will be held directly at Lakeview Cemetery, New Canaan, CT, Friday morning March 17, 2017 at 11:00 AM.

The family will receive friends at the Hull Funeral Home, 60 Division St., Danbury, Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
