Richard J. Selleck

Richard James Selleck, age 65, of Bethel, CT died Monday, March 26, 2018 at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of Donna (Clark) Selleck.

He was born in Norwalk, CT, July 31, 1952, son of Alice (Wenzel) Selleck of Newtown, CT and the late Harry J. Selleck. Richard worked at Regency Limousine for over 20 years as a driver and more recently a dispatcher. He was a life-long New York Mets Fan.

In addition to his wife of 43 years, and mother, he is survived by his son: Jason Selleck of Danbury, CT; daughter: Jillian Selleck of Torrington, CT; brother: Dave Selleck of Newtown, CT and 4 grandchildren. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother: Gary Selleck and sister: Barbara Ann Selleck.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bethel Volunteer Fire Dept., 36 South St., Bethel, CT 06801.

The family will receive friends at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, CT, Saturday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Cremation will be at the convenience of the family.
