Mary (Paporto) Botti, age 91, of Brookfield, CT died, March 10, 2017 at Regional Hospice & Home Care Center, Danbury. She was the widow of Ralph Botti.

She was born October 29, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of Salvatore and Concetta  Paporto, who were immigrants from Bronte, Sicily. She worked as a manager for Abraham and Strauss for many years and retired from the Department of Motor Vehicles in the State of New York

Mary is survived by sons: Anthony Mendolia of Plant City, FL, and Michael Mendolia, of Harrisburg, PA., as well as by her daughter Donna Marie Lellis of Brookfield, CT.  Mary was also survived by eight living grandchild, and her one year old great grandson.

Mary had only moved to Brookfield three years ago and was enjoying a happy, and active life as a member of the Brookfield Senior Center, and St Marguerite Bourgeoys Parish.  She suffered a stroke this past December with complications culminating with her passing on Friday.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Marguerites Bourgeoys Church, Brookfield, Monday morning gat 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, LI, NY Monday afternoon.
