Jose L. Garcia, 70, of Danbury, CT was called to our Lord Jesus Christ to Heaven on May 1, 2017. He was the husband of the late Mercedes (Valera) Garcia.

Jose was born in Iloilo City, Philippines on June 6, 1946. He was an engineer, an avid Amateur Radio operator, and a devoted servant of the Lord. He is survived by his two children: Jose Garcia and Larissa (Garcia) Ross, and grandchildren: Patrick, Robert, Joseph, Logan and Mercedes.

Family and friends will be received at Hull Funeral Home, 60 Division St., Danbury, on Sunday May 14th from 2pm – 5pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter Church, 104 Main St., Danbury on Monday May 15th at 10:30am. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury
