John Patrick O’Neil (Jack) age 52 of New Milford formerly of Bethel, CT, died at his home on Thursday January 25, 2018.

Jack was born August 3, 1965 in Santa Ana, CA, Jack was a 1983 graduate of Bethel High School where he was a talented member of the hockey team. Later Jack attended Keene State College in New Hampshire where he studied to be a history teacher, his true passion in life. Jack owned and operated the former O’Neil’s Drywall Company in Bethel, CT as well. He enjoyed fishing most in life on his downtime and golfing with friends.

Jack was a beloved son, brother and uncle to his mother Ellen O’Neil-Scaccia, his sister Stacey O’Neil and also to his niece and nephew Ann and Alex O’Neil. He also leaves behind his precious sweetheart Olive. He will also be survived by his children Rosie, Scott and David. Jack also leaves behind a host of extended family and life long friends.

A graveside service will take place in Saint Mary Cemetery, Bethel, CT, at a date and time to be announced.
