Jennifer Lee Blodgett (Jennilee), age 34 of New Milford, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Danbury Hospital, surrounded by friends and family.

Jenn was born in New Milford to parents, Julie Beardsley Blodgett and David Blodgett. She was a 2000 graduate of New Milford High School and received a bachelor’s degree in Arts and Communication from Western Connecticut State University in 2005. Jenn’s greatest pleasures in life, were the simply things, the sun, the boat, the beach, wearing flip flops and her beloved dog Kona. She also enjoyed snowboarding and most outdoor activities.

In addition to her parents, Jenn is survived by a sister Brienna Blodgett, her grandfather John Blodgett and his longtime companion Carolyn Cyr and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Being the generous person she was, Jenn chose to be an organ donor, to help give life to others. Although Jenn’s life was tragically cut short, we will always remember her with the wind in her hair and the sun on her face.

A Memorial Gathering will be held in the Colonial Funeral Home 87 Park Lane RD, New Milford, Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 12 noon until 1:00 PM, with a service to begin at 1:00 PM.
