Frank J. Smith, 88, of Thomaston, CT passed away peacefully at his home on December 12th, 2017.

Frank was born in Hackensack, NJ on May 3rd, 1929.  He was married to the late Theresa Agliotta on September 11, 1954 and together they lovingly raised 7 children, 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Frank was very active in the catholic community and volunteered for the Red Cross.

He is survived by his sons: Peter, Christopher & Patrick Smith; daughters: Cynthia Smith, Kathleen Knisely, Mary Hicks & Claudia Smith; his brother: James Smith; his sister: Barbara Coan and his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother: Ralph Smith.

The funeral service will be held at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Avenue in Bethel CT, Friday, December 15 at 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends preceding the service at the Bethel Funeral Home, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Burial will take place at St. Mary Cemetery, Bethel at the convenience of the family.
