Francis J. (Fritz) Stelzel

Francis J. (Fritz) Stelzel, 67, of Bethel passed away November 30 at Danbury Hospital. A lifetime resident of Bethel, Fritz was the son of the late Jacqueline (Tawyea) and Edward Stelzel. Fritz was a longtime employee of Thomas Refuse and Winters Brothers in Danbury. Fritz always loved motorcycles and fast cars growing up. He also loved his friends and family.

Fritz is survived by his children, Frank, Kerri, Brandi, and Jesse, and 5 grandchildren. He is also survived by his two brothers, Edward, of Dunlap TN, and Donald of Port St Lucie, FL. His sister Elaine Johr of Bethel. Several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to his nephew Paul for guiding him through his battle with liver cancer.

 There are no calling hours scheduled at this time. There will be a memorial service held at the convenience of the family.
