Carmelina Rosa DiPietro, age 76 of Danbury, passed away suddenly Monday morning at Danbury Hospital surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Antonio DiPietro. Camelina was born January 27, 1941 in New York City a daughter of the late Frank and Tina (Conte) Casteglia.  Before her marriage to Antonio she worked for Walt Disney World. Carmelina spent her life doing what she loved most, taking care her family and being a loving and giving part of her community.

In addition to her husband, Carmelina is survived by her son Joseph F. DiPietro, his wife Silvana and their children, Marina, Michelle, Nicole and Angela. She also leaves her extended family and friends who will miss her greatly.

Family will receive friends in the Hull Funeral Home 60 Division St., Danbury, CT Wednesday afternoon from 1-3 PM and from 5-8 in the evening, Thursday afternoon from 1-3 PM and from 5-8 in the evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in St. Joseph Church, Danbury on Friday at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY.
