Beatrice D. Freeman Smith, age 74, of New Milford, CT died Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Danbury Hospital.

Beatrice was born April 3, 1943 in Danbury, CT a daughter of the late Charles N. and Nettie Mae (Brown) Freeman.

She is survived by her daughter: Colette Smith of Waterbury, CT; two sisters: Charlene Freeman of Vernon, CT, Margo Freeman of New Milford; niece: Erika Brown of Vernon, CT and nephews: Tyler Brown of Vernon, CT, Sean and Kiernan O’Connell of Cedar Point, NC.

There are no calling hours and services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
