Ellen Repen

Ellen R. (Johnson) Fields Repen, age 99, of Bethel, CT died Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Filosa Nursing Home, Danbury. She was the Widow of Harry Repen.

She was born in Suffolk, LI, NY, August 11, 1913, daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Bland) Johnson. She moved to Danbury in 1966 and has been a Bethel resident for over 25 years. Ellen worked for 13 years as a Secretary at South Hampton Hospital in New York and then 13 years at Danbury Hospital. She was member of the Bethel Methodist Church.

Ellen is survived by her 2 sons: Robert Fields and his wife Phyllis of Florida, Harry Repen and his wife Patty of California; 2 daughters-in-law: Jean Fields of Brookfield, Jerry Fields of Danbury as well as 6 grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 sons: Ronald and Charles Fields.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Filosa Nursing Home for all their loving care.

Cremation arrangements per her request are at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
